BluLever Education is empowering Africa’s artisans with skills for the future. BluLever achieves this through holistic vocational education and skills training that creates ethical industry professionals of a global standard. BluLever’s Braamfontein Campus, focused on plumbing apprenticeships, launched in early 2021.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
BluLever Education is preparing Africa for the 4th industrial revolution by mobilising a movement of 5 million artisans as active citizens. We currently offer plumbing apprenticeships for 5 cohorts of 30 students per year, as well as various other artisan training products such as the MakersHub - an incubation hub that supports small businesses in their journey to growth, formalisation and stability. The Blulever team is growing fast, with many more opportunities for growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will be instrumental in creating a strong visual style and sensibility across all BluLever branding (internal & external) and creating great brand content. The role is multifacted and involves canva design, event photography, photo editing, video shooting and editing, designing and organising the creation of collateral and continually providing further design support to the entire BluLever team. We are looking for someone who has a keen interest in design and an eye for detail.
WHAT YOU NEED
For this role you will need to have at least a year of work experience as a graphic designer (even if only canva). You will need to have a strong design eye and be able to use a DLSR camera. We are looking for a person who loves designing and has the maturity to create beautiful designs that are within clear brand guidelines. Being a good collaborator and having the ability to work efficiently with proper design work flows is important.
