BluLever Education is empowering Africa’s artisans with skills for the future. BluLever achieves this through holistic vocational education and skills training that creates ethical industry professionals of a global standard. BluLever’s Braamfontein Campus, focused on plumbing apprenticeships, launched in early 2021.
WHERE WE ARE NOW
BluLever Education is preparing Africa for the 4th industrial revolution by mobilising a movement of 5 million artisans as active citizens. We currently offer plumbing apprenticeships for 5 cohorts of 30 students per year, as well as various other artisan training products such as the MakersHub - an incubation hub that supports small businesses in their journey to growth, formalisation and stability. ABOUT THE ROLE
As an electrical facilitator, you will be working directly with apprentices, which involves facilitation, mentoring and coaching. This role also includes curriculum and learning material development, supporting on accreditation and management of the electrical workshop. The right candidate will have to be highly skilled in their field and eager to give back and improve apprenticeship training.
WHAT YOU NEED
For this role you will need to be a Red Seal Electrician or Electrical Engineer, with minimum 3 years post qualification work experience. If you’ve been on an assessor/ moderator course and are registered with industry bodies, that’s a bonus. Having trained apprentices before or having experience with teaching and mentoring new electricians is a great addition as you will need to be able to build out and manage a learning journey.
